Makar Sankranti is a Hindu festival recognized on 14th January every year. Makar is a Hindu indication and Sankranti indicates to modify route. They also prepare and return a special combination of Sugarcane, sesame place seeds, dry coconut, strong fried grams and peanuts, honor their creatures by giving them a grand shower and feeding them Pongal, make picturesque rangolies.

Though Sankranti has various names,but it is celebrated with great joy and vivacity in each and every part of India.
